In southeast Oklahoma, Atoka, Bryan, Coal, Hughes, Johnston and Marshall. In southern Oklahoma, Carter, Love and Murray. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Areas of heavy rainfall area expected to continue through about 4am, which will lead to flash flooding in parts of the watch area. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 24 at 1:23AM CDT until May 24 at 1:45AM CDT by NWS Norman OK At 122 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 3 miles northeast of Hickory to 4 miles northeast of Mill Creek to 5 miles east of Gene Autry to near Springer, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Sulphur, Roff, Springer, Mill Creek, Dougherty, Gene Autry, Hickory, Scullin, Lake Of The Arbuckles, Reagan, and Turner Falls. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
