Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 10 at 9:51PM EDT until May 11 at 3:00AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ * WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...Middlesex, Western Monmouth and Eastern Monmouth. * WHEN...Until 3 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the most vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and along inland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The high tide tonight is forecast to have the highest water levels and greatest impacts with this stretch of coastal flooding, and high tide water levels will lower over the weekend however there could still be some lingering minor tidal flooding. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
