High Surf Advisory issued October 22 at 9:29PM AKDT until October 23 at 10:00PM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK * WHAT...Breaking waves of 2 to 3 feet on top of elevated water levels. * WHERE...Eastern Beaufort Sea Coast. * WHEN...Until 10 PM AKDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Localized beach erosion may occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A large storm system will bring water levels of 1 to 2 feet above normal high tide. Wave breaking action in addition this elevated water is expected to bring beach erosion. The highest water will be Wednesday morning. Water levels will diminish on Wednesday and Thursday, but will remain elevated through Thursday night. Precautions should be taken to protect property.
